TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade launched in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That would round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Here is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into how you think about it.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
